33 Arlington Avenue

This project consisted of the renovation of an existing two story warehouse in the Van Wagner Place neighborhood of Poughkeepsie. The building was re-purposed into retail stores on the ground floor with professional offices on the second floor. The existing barrel roof with its bow trusses created an opportunity for open and dramatic spaces. The building announces its presence in the neighborhood with a corner tower clad in corrugated metal and echoes the feeling of a traditional European public plaza.
